Swedish Postcode Lottery
Peace Parks Foundation Sweden is the grateful recipient of SEK7 million from the Swedish Postcode Lottery. On 6 March 2017, the Swedish Postcode Lottery distributed over SEK1 billion to 53 non-profit organisations. Since its inception in 2005, the Swedish Postcode Lottery has generated more than SEK8.3 billion for charities.

The support from the Swedish Postcode Lottery and the many ticket buyers has made a major contribution to transfrontier conservation development in southern Africa, as well as to improved livelihoods in Simalaha Community Conservancy and the implementation of the Rhino Protection Programme.
Ms Cecilia Bergendahl, managing director of Novamedia Sweden and lottery manager at the Swedish Postcode Association said: 'Right now we are seeing a worrying development in two areas: One is the climate and the environment, and the second is the growing inequality in our society. We have therefore chosen to focus on these areas'.

Thank You!

Thank you very much to the Swedish Postcode Lottery and the lottery players for this magnificent contribution and for their continued support of the foundation’s work. This year the non-profit sector received SEK1.37 billion from the Swedish Postcode Lottery. Since 2010, Peace Parks Foundation has received SEK79 million from the lottery.
